Camping

At Holme Valley Camping and Caravan Park, we are again looking forward to being the *official campsite for the Festival of Folk and welcoming performers and guests for this fantastic event.

We are a family run and family-friendly park situated a mile north of Holmfirth. Surrounded by 16 acres of woodland and meadows with a fishing lake and the River Holme running past, we are lucky to have a peaceful location in the valley bottom.

We now have two amenities blocks with optional private family bathrooms for hire which have proved to be a popular facility on the park. Our licensed shop is open every day; if however you prefer not to think about cooking we have Courtyard Catering with us for the Folk Festival weekend and they can feed hungry campers with a good range of fantastic food from cooked breakfasts to hot meals.

We don't have many rules; however, we are keen to restrict noise levels so that everyone can enjoy their stay with us.

Noise must be kept to a low level: no music after 10pm and no noise after 11pm. Also, for the safety of everyone, we do not allow any sort of campfire or chimineas.

Pitching areas will be offered on arrival on the park.

Please note that there is strictly no camping in the woodland.

We offer performers a 10% discount (please state which side you belong to when booking.)

We have a 'no Saturday only' (one night) policy and ask for pitch costs to be paid in full over the phone when booking. Guests are welcome to stay until 7pm on Sunday so as to take full advantage of the festival.

Together with the organisers of the festival we are offering guests a free shuttle bus service between the campsite and Holmfirth.

To book a pitch you can now book online. Please note that if you are a performer and qualify for a 10% discount please ring us on 01484 665819 to book your pitch.

We look forward to seeing you all in May.

*Please note that camping is no longer authorised at Sands Recreation Ground and Holmfirth Festival of Folk cannot accept responsibility for anyone attempting to do so.
